Terms of Service

Welcome to NOLIBAB. By creating an account, joining a conversation, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use NOLIBAB.

NOLIBAB provides automatic, real-time translation for one-to-one and group conversations, so that each participant can write in their own language and read in their own language.

1. Eligibility

NOLIBAB is available only to users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, you may not create an account, join a conversation, or use the Service. For users aged 13–17, NOLIBAB automatically enables enhanced safety mode.

2. Your Account

You may use NOLIBAB as a guest (without registration) or as a registered user. Registered accounts require an email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from Settings within the app, or by requesting deletion through the public account-deletion page.

3. Your Content & Conduct

You retain ownership of the content you create and send on NOLIBAB. By sending a message, you grant NOLIBAB the limited right to process and translate that message to deliver it to other participants in their preferred language.

You agree that you will not use NOLIBAB to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or stalk any person.
• Send unlawful, harmful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or hateful content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Attempt to extract another participant's contact information for purposes outside the Service.
• Use the Service to groom, exploit, or otherwise harm minors.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
• Circumvent any safety, moderation, or translation features.

For users under 18, NOLIBAB automatically filters content that may be unsafe -- including sharing of contact information, grooming, sexual content, and self-harm -- in both directions within a conversation.

4. Automatic Translation

NOLIBAB performs automatic, real-time translation. Translations are generated by automated language models and may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying any important information conveyed through a translation. NOLIBAB is not liable for damages arising from inaccurate translations.

Your original message is preserved as the source of truth. Recipients see a translation into their preferred language. Because translation requires automated message processing, NOLIBAB does not provide end-to-end encryption while translation is active. Messages are transmitted over encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) and stored securely.

5. Smart Replies & Personalization

NOLIBAB may suggest replies based on the conversation context. When personalized smart replies are enabled, NOLIBAB learns from your interactions to tailor suggestions to your communication style. You can disable personalized smart replies or clear your learned communication profile at any time in Settings.

6. Guest Sessions

Guests can join conversations through invite links without creating an account. Guest sessions are temporary and may expire. A guest can claim their session into a registered account to preserve conversations. Unclaimed guest content may be deleted or anonymized according to NOLIBAB's retention policy.

7. Enforcement

We may review reported content and investigate violations of these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access for users who violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. You can report inappropriate content or block users from within the app.

8. Disclaimers

NOLIBAB is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that translations, smart replies, or the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times. You use NOLIBAB at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NOLIBAB and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to NOLIBAB, if any.

10. Termination

You may stop using NOLIBAB and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we believe your activity poses a risk to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use NOLIBAB ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you within the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
